I am writing this as a complaint against Quality Personalized Services, a company for providing house help. The contact of this company was given to me by Just-Dial Bangalore.
I got the contact of this company and the contact person as Srinivas (cell no. 9343567404), from Just Dial Yellow pages on 15th Sep. 2007 I required a part-time maid for cooking and for looking after my new born baby. Srinivas from Quality Personalized Services came to my place on 15th, Saturday along with maid. We finalized that maid will commence work from Sunday, 16th Sep because I needed a house help very very urgently. I signed a contract with QPS, paid them contract money Rs 2500/- and Srinivas assured me that maid will come on Sunday.
Maid did not turn up on Sunday, also Srinivas was unreacheable. He told later that he had left his cell with his brother. We tried calling Srinivas atleast 10 times on Sunday and also tried the office which was closed. My wife who has had an operation while delivery 15 days back, had to perform all the household work herself and take care of the baby also. We did not know whom to contact. It was a very big harassment for us.
On Monday 17th, when we were finally able to reach Srinivas, he told that he will himself get a new maid and come to our house at 10.30 am. Parallely, QPS office worker, some lady Priya told her that she will herself go to maid's house and get the maid to our place. We were thoroughly confused about these 2 assurances. No one offered us any clarification as to who actally would come. At 10.30 Srinivas told me that he has sent a person to our place with the maid. We again waited for an hour and nobody came. We told Srinivas that he had harassed us and cheated us of money, and he should return the money, but he said he will get us the maid. On the contrary he told us we should not show urgency, and that he would get us a maid in a day or two. Then he hung up the phone.
After that we made several attempts directly & through Just Dial to get our money back but to no avail.
QPS is very unethical service provider and other people should not get cheated by it. Also, it would be great if this portal could help us in getting our money back.
