A cover was booked for me at Karur, Tamil Nadu on 11-05 by my cousin to my address at Chennai through Franch Express. The booking no was, A 21827178. As the delivery was not effected during the next few days, the office at both the places were contacted frequently without success. Most of the time, nobody took the phone at Chennai office.
At last, after several complaints, the cover was delivered on 19-05. The reason for non delivery was written as refused/door locked etc. Unfortunately for them, because of a small fracture in my foot I was very much in my home for the past one month except the time of hospital visit on 13-05 for two hours in the evening.
Is this the type of service expected from Franch Express courier. Letters posted in post office reaches on the third day to most of the places if not on the second day. We pay more money for the courier service, but the service provided is far from satisfactory.
