Tree cutting permission

Dear Mr Commissioner,

We would like to bring to your notice that Tree Cutting permission has been granted by your office even after putting up objection by about 51 persons. The tree has been cut on 14 February. This is with regard to neem tree that was standing on plot 28, Shreya Residency, New Shreynagar, Aurangabad.

We would like to know the following from your office:

Why and on what basis did your office give permission to cut the tree even without informing objecting persons?

Who is the officer that has processed the permission? Was there any pressure social, political or economical to break the rule of law?

We hope to receive a response from your office in this regard at the earliest...
