Dear Sir,
I am the resident at 968, III Cross, I Block, Kalyana Nagar, Bangalore 560043.
About a month ago Gammon India, the contractor employed by BWSSB, dug up the busy road infront of my house to lay pipe line for Cauvery Phase VII project. The residents did not have any prior information about this. The engineers of Gammon India told us that the roads will be restored to original shape with in two days.
They have dug up the road and have left the dug up earth & the pits uncovered. Besides a traffic hazard for hundreds of vehicles & dangerous to children as well as pedestrians, the dust raised by the movement of vehicles is a real health hazard for the residents.
Hope the concerned authorities will look into this. I request the commissioner BBMP to pay a surprise visit to my house to see the ammount of dust that enters my house.
