PF Office not responding on the status of PF transfer/withdrawl

I had initiated the process of PF transfer from my previous employer to the current one almost 8 months back. But my PF has not been transfered yet.

I'm in urgent need of money and want to withdraw my PF amount but my current employer states that since they have initiated the transfer the PF money can't be withdrawn. When I contacted Thane PF Offcie of my previous employer they told me they haven't recieved any request from Chennai PF office.

And Chennai office is neither commenting on the status of my PF transfer nor suggesting whether I can withdraw money or not. I've sent several emails and tried calling them numerous times but still there is no response.

Its my hard earned money that they are sitting over and not letting me avail it in this hour of need!!!
