Non receipt of Passport

Dear Sir,

We had applied for Passport of my son on 1st October (Ref No. DLH-M024227-10.

The police verification was conducted in the first week of December and all required documents were submitted. Now the status on the website shows - "Your Police Report is In-complete. Please submit 3 sets of personal perticulars form alongwith request application quoting your file no to concern Public Relation Officer. "

I contacted the Poilce officer who conducted the verification, he says that he submitted the positive report after the verification. Sir, how can I know the reason for such status and what should be done so that the same problem does not come in the subsequent verification.
