DGCA
DGCA Fraud in Issue of Pilot Licences

The office of the Training and Licencing has stopped issuing commercial pilot license for pilot candidates who have done their flight training at part 61 flight schools in the USA.

There are thousands of commercial pilots operating in the all major air carriers in India including Air India, Indian Airlines, Indigo, Spice Jet, Jet Airways and so on. Hundreds and hundreds of these commercial pilots according to the DGCA’s office are fake and not genuine as per current understanding of the office of the Training and Licensing, DGCA. But these pilots are still flying!

Thousands of pilots have been issued commercial pilot licences by the office of the Training and Licensing, DGCA for pilots who have undergone training at a part 61 flight school in the USA.

Without any intimation or public notice the DGCA office has stopped issuing licences for the pilots from the USA with part 61 training, obviously then the commercial pilots currently operating in all major airlines in India who did their training at part 61 flight schools are fake and not genuine!

Could the office of the DGCA cancel all such thousands of commercial pilot licences issued earlier or could the DGCA’s office appropriately as per existing practise and rules issue commercial pilot licences for pilots applying for license conversion who have done their training from part 61 schools in the USA.

Currently a lot of applications for commercial pilot license have been rejected on the grounds that training was conducted at part 61 school.

In context to the objection raised by the DGCA’s office, nothing has changed in terms of the rules nor has anything changed from the point of view of training that the licences were issued earlier on the training from part 61 schools being acceptable and which is not acceptable to them any more. Is this not a simple case of fraud!

Hundreds of such applicants who have trained at a part 61 school have been facing such harassment from the office of the DGCA.

Looking forward to a resolution in the above matter on an urgent basis.
