Dear Sir/Ma'm,
I am a student of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. I had to deliver a courier to Delhi. I went to a shop nearby our hostel "Digital Photocopiers" (adjacent to Kajal Photocopiers). They said they take couriers for sending through DTDC . I submitted my parcel on 30th of July and i was told it would reach latest by 1st of August. But, till today they have not dispatched the courier, and they are saying that the person from DTDC has not com to collect it since. In the two days period i was not informed about the delay (they had my number on bill) Today since morning they are saying that it will be dispatched, but even till 6:15 pm it has not been collected for dispatch process from the shop by DTDC. On bill the shop keeper has not written date of collecting parcel from me, and neither signed on it. I was charged 45 rupees, whereas the actual amount is only 35 rupees. He is not even ready to give me back my money and parcel. I request you to please look into the matter so that such shopkeeper cant bluff customers in future.
