Encroachment of public roads and pavement

Dear Sir,

This is with reference to encroachment of public roads by waste paper

merchants and rickshaw pullers for their personal use. I am resident

of Nehru Enclave, Shakarpur Delhi 110092 and part of this system from last thirty years. I am

well qualified and taking this liberty to write an email to you.

There is serious problem in this area due to paper merchants and

rickshaw pullers who use public roads for their personal use. Paper

merchants park their papers on roads and does not allow any movement

of traffic (please refer road adajacent to Noida raod - Akshardham).

In spite of the fact that this is residential area, however it is

being used for commercial purpose. People does not protest for this

due to fear that they will be beaten/threaten by them.

Further, rickshaw pullers park their ricshaws in front of schools and

run their commercial activities over there besides other illegal shops

adajacent to school buildings. It has very bad impact on the students

and residents who are part of this school/area. It is diffcult to cross the

roads by ladies/girls of this localities during evening time.
