Dear Sir,

My brother has sent me 1 parcel from South Africa to India (Karnal, Haryana - 1320001) &--gt; containing #05 packet Multi-vitamin, #1 Cordless phone, #1 trimmer &#1 battery charger total declared value of items - INR 1950/-

Parcel Unique ID no: EE020426645ZA (which is currenly kept on hold by Karnal Post office (Haryana) & they are asking customs duty of INR 3700/- to be paid before releasing Parcel).

My Father (Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta - Advocate) has called-up Foreign post office, Delhi yesterday & had a word with Ms. Shiksha Jain (Customs Inspector Delhi). After verifying she has clarified there is no customs duty applicable on this parcel but still Karnal (Haryana) Post office is asking for customs duty.

Would request you to kindly get this addressed on priority & help release Parcel to us without any further delay.
