Is it Guwahati Passport Office working properly? They are always after rejecting passport application with valid document. I have old passport submitted in Guwahati Passport Office to renew. Old passport means I had submitted all necessary documents at the time of making new passport. Now they are not accepting one after anther reasons:
1) I am staying in Shillong, from Shillong does not have passport office therefore I had gone down to Guwahati Passport Office on 19/03 to submit but they dint accept because time was 1:30 pm and they never accept in afternoon. As much I know Passport office is run under central government and it should open till 5:30 pm. My time, money and energy waist on that day.
2) On Next time again I had gone down to Guwahati passport Office in time to submit my passport to renew on 01/04. Again they had rejected because my passport photo has background not in white color. Again I waist that day.
3) Next time again on 08/04, I had gone down to Guwahati passport Office in time to submit my passport to renew. Again they had rejected because I dint enclosed NOC certificate from my office. Again I waist that day.
4) Again on 16/04, I had gone down to Guwahati passport Office in time to submit my passport to renew. Again they had rejected because I dint enclosed marriage certificate. Again I waist that day.
5) Again on 23/01, I had gone down to Guwahati passport Office in time to submit my passport to renew. Again they had rejected because I had enclosed another recent photograph in my NOC certificate. They need all the photos in same size and color. Again I waist that day.
6) Now recently they are rejecting because on the photo I have cross signed.
Guwahati Passport Office does not have any help desk and it has surrounded with passport agent inside as well as outside. It is difficult to identify the person working there are employee’s or agents? An agent means they need money and I am not willing to pay even single pennies. Now problem is that office is not in Shillong, to submit in proper way.
Shall I go to RTI, why they are rejecting again and again?
Is there having any authority or department to vigilance against this office to receive complain?
I am tired with this department.
This organization is corrupted and should be exposed.
