Haryana Urban Development Authority
Lack Of Parking Place In Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon

Dear Concern,

I being a resident of gurgaon, am facing a lot of problem on account of lack of parking facilities in Udyog Vihar,

In spite of The site being inaugurated by Ministers for Multi Level Parking in Udyog vihar Sector V, the project has not moved even a single inch in the past two years. In fact to start the project the Authorities have created a boundary wall around the complete plot (guess Plot 488, adjacent to Plot 477 TCS).

This has in turn, stopped the vehicle owners to park their car in the open land which is now a complete waste, as neither it is used for developing multi level parking nor for single level open parking.

As a cascade effect people have started parking their vehicles on road side, and the number of vehicles as you must be aware is very huge on account of poor local transport facility in Gurgaon (the so called IT hub).

To overcome this, the traffic police have now warned the employees not to park their vehicles on the road sides...

This is a complete deadlock situation, as parking facility is not developed and roadside parking is not allowed.

Request you to please contact the concerned authorities and query for the proper cause in this delay, as this problem will not solve but increase many folds in the coming days..

To summarise the Problem is:-

1. Lack of efficient Public transport system in Gurgaon

2. No Development for multi level parking.

3. Incomplete projects of multi level parking in udyog vihar phase V, which has covered a large area of land which can be used for temporarily resolving this parking problem.

The possible Solution:-

1. Improve Public transport system in Gurgaon,

2. Complete the already started /halted projects of multi level parking in gurgaon.

3. If not resuming the halted projects, at least arrange for temporary parking by demolishing the dummy walls around the land which is now wasted.

Waiting for positive changes,

Thanks & Regards,

Nikhil Trivedi
