Passport not received

Dear Sir/Madam,

With due respect I would like to bring to your kind notice that, we applied for a new passport at Ghaziabad Passport office but it is not received till date. When I enquire about the status of my application on 'http://passportstatus.nic.in' it appears as "Police Report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by 04-04. Subject to all documents being in order."

We went two times to passport office also, but response was that since they are still issuing passports for year so none of the 2012 passport is dispatched yet. I am writing to you on behalf of my wife, because she has to travel soon abroad and many important things are getting delayed because of all this. Kindly look into the matter asap.
