It took four years to get approved the installation of TWO SPEED BREAKERS on the Residential cum Institutional Road joining Mayapuri Road to Vishnudatt Sharma Marg in D-1 Block Janakpuri and the same were installed during the year 1982.
These Speed Breakers are essentially required to facilitate more than 5000 students of various Delhi Govt. Higher Secondary Schools, Delhi Nagar Nigam Schools, while arriving to attend the schools as well while leaving same through this linking road of 60 ft. only.
In view of the latest carpetting of the link road, the SPEED BREAKERS are no more visible and requires dressing as well as proper re-installing and MARKING, so as to heve proper identification for speeding vehicles, which started moving on much higher speeds to avoid any accident, which is inevitable.
Moreover the Marking of ZEBRA CROSSINGS are also got scrapped due to fresh carpetting and needs immediate attention to re-mark same to facilitate small children, students and the Senior Citizens to cross the road to approach market etc.
The said link Residential/ Institutional Road is prohibited to Ply the Heavy Vehicles, duly approved by the Delhi Traffic Authorities, who had inintially installed the NO ENTRY BOARDS, which had been dismantled by the rogues AND NEEDS TO BE PUT "NO ENTRY BOARDS" as well as to CHALLAN THE HEAVY VEHICLES, BUSES being plied.
Appreciate your most immediate action in this regards, lest it would be late to have any bad news of any fatal accident.
