I have applied for passport through post office at chennai tnagar on 16/02.There is no progress in my pass port status enquiry. Hence I contacted the post office about the forwarding details of my application. They gave me in writing that the same has been delivered on 08/03.I went to pass port office and stood in the enquiry queue for more than 5 hours and got the appointment to APOII in the 2nd floor room no 2. I met him and asked about the status. He informed that no record found. In reply I asked when will be the record uploaded. He replied that you have to ask the government. I asked him that you are represnting the govt in this case, You pl inform me the solution. In turn he asked that why did u apply through post office. Again I asked him to give the solution to withdraw this and apply fresh through tatkal as i have to write GRE exam. He informed me that he is in the situation for not giving any solution. Kindlygive me a suggestion to come out and apply fresh through tatkal. I have done a great blunder by applying through post office chennai
