This is in connection with the repair/widening of Choondal-Kuttipuram National Highway. The work is still going on and not reached any definite target. The area between Perumpilavu and Kunnamkulam is the worse area. The matter was highlighted through many media and official channel. But no response from any angle. The accident and casuality rates were many. But it is not understood why no action taken to rectify the problem. The traffic on this road can be assessed if a team is deputed from the concerned authority. From today onwards the traffic will increase considerably due to onset of Sabarimala pilgrimage. As everybody know the important of Sabarimala pilgrimage and intermediary pilgrim station Guruvayur, all pilgrims from northern districts and states of this locality has to travel through this road only. The junction at Perumpilavu in front of TM High School should be repaired without any delay so as to aviod any tragedy. The tendancy of closing eyes and ears even after every drastic accidents and casualities from the authority is a regular practice. Please do not neglect this plea lest a small effort may turn to a great tragedy. Again and again the request is repeated to do immediate remedial measures. From the past experiences only sincere and honest intervension from a higher authority will solve. Hope this plea will get due consideration.
