Dear sir, my name is sangeetha nayar im a singapore passport holder now residing in ludhiana punjab. i had got issued passport for my daughter nitya in august .but when we recieved there was an error in the surname which was later given for correction in 2006 .after that for one year there was no contact from the kozhikode passport office.when i went directly and met the officer in charge and asked for the passport. they showed it to me and said since u don't reside here in kerala we'l forward it to chandigarh passport office.which hasn't been done so far bacause when we personally went to chandigarh they said they have not recieved our file.the passport got expired last august sir i just want to know whether i can apply for a new passport for my daughter here from chandigarh passport office which is nearest showing our local ludhiana address .pls do reply
