Why there is Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined

Hi Team,

I applied the passport on 30-08 at patna centre with file number PAT-A084286-11.Police did my verification on 12-08.Police man came at my home, took my signature as well as my thumb impression. Everything went of well.but when i saw the status, it shows that police report is incomplete and the case is being examined. I called that police man who did my verification.he informed me that he had send the report completely in my favour. So please tell me why this is happening with me and what should i have to do.
