PASSPORT OFFICE
SPELLING MISTAKE OF SURNAME

Sir,

I have applied for passport in passport office and passport office issued me passport no. J761886 in 2010.But after submitting all the documents of ID proof, spelling of my surname written wrong by passport office in my PASSPORT.

So please advise me who is responsible for the mistake and what is remedy of this lapses
