Long distance Hi tech Service not stopping at Uppal

I have no other option but to register a complaint here after facing the same scenario thrice at Uppal bus stop.

I along with my parents were waiting for the late night long distance service from KPHB Hyderabad to Mangapet (WL 2 Depot. Bus number 0602) at Uppal chowrasta bus stop. I came to give send off to my parents. The scheduled time of arrival is 11.15 PM. we came to the bus stop at 10.45 PM and were waiting. I have learnt from the controller present at Uppal that the bus has not arrived yet. Time passed by but the bus has not arrived.

At around 12.15 (1 hr after the scheduled arrival) we saw a bus crossing Uppal chowrasta with out halting at the bus stop. The controller told me that the bus that has crossed with out stopping is the one that we should be boarding.

I somehow chased the bus on my bike and overtook the bus after 1KM and asked the driver to stop there and then cam back and picked my parents and dropped them near the bus.

To my astonishment, the driver of the bus was shouting at me and my parents and had instigated the co passengers against us. I was totally surprised by the way he was speaking as he was using filthy language. When asked why he dint stop at uppal, he said there were no seats, though i could see half the bus empty.

After questioning him that this service is the last bus in that route, (we had to travel 250 km till the last stop in that route to reach our village and this was the last bus), and what about the passengers who are waiting for this who would never know that the bus has left, he answered that" we were waiting for some passengers who got their seats reserved and they dint turn up at MGBS for 2 hrs (Thats a lie as the bus generally comes to Uppal between 11.45PM - 12.00 PM). so we cant wait any longer ".

This was the answer given by a public servant to the Public for no mistake of the later.

This is not the first time i faced this scenario. Its been thrice before I am reporting this incident here. The controller at Uppal was also aghast by the behavior of the driver told us that the drivers are doing things like these very frequently. He advised me to complain against the driver and assured me that he will be the witness for that incident which has happened many a number of times till date.

I was able to catch the bus because i know about the bus and i had a bike to chase it. But what about the old people who cant see properly in the night, waiting for a bus that would never come in a dead cold night. And after people like us chasing, tensed and what not and finally catching the only bus that would take us 250 km in the night had to hear filthy and foul language from the drivers.

Is this how a public servant should behave. Have they no responsibility towards the public?

I hope the authorities would consider this. If they cant trust me and heed a deaf ear to me, they can at least consider one of their own colleagues at least out of respect for his job.
