I bought a flats from Balambigai Builders, Keelkattalai, Chennai and occupied in FEB. Construction of the building is not good. Quality of work is not good. Didn't do the things properly what else he promised at the time of registration. He didn't given any proper construction document. Not even used a proper box to close the EB juction point where the EB meter and all kept. One of the EB meter fixed in my flats for my neighbour is someone's meter, that meter not belongs to my neighbour. He went to EB office to pay EB bill. That time only EB official told this meter is not in your name and they told someone's name. My neighbour asked about this to the builder, after that only builder told this meter is not your's, for temporarly I fixed, I'll change later once I get a new meter in your name. Still all the works are pending. We (all the 6 buyers) paid 1st time house tax, but he got nearly 1 lac for registration, eb, sevage, house tax, water and all. If we ask now he is telling he won't pay the tax, again we need to pay 10K for house connection water supply. Quality of the tiles he layed is really worst. In 2 to 3 places they layed the broken tiles and quality of the window and door woods are worst, everywhere cracked and the electricals are really worst, each and every room he given only one plug point, we asked for extra points, but he asked 1800 for each point extra. Fan regulator will work only in 3 and 4 speeds. If we turn it to 1 or 2, then fan will switched off. Painting is really worst. My advice is to before buying ask him proper agreement with what type of work and what quality of products and how many products the builder will do.
