I, Yashoda purchased a plot bearing 50 X 70 being registered on 03/08.
Site No: 18, Khatha no: 193, property/Survey no: 383 Situated at Kalkere village, Krishnarajapuram Hobali under the limits of BBMP.
The property tax for 3500 Sqft comes roughly about Rs.940/-. But the owner from whom we purchased has given incorrect (more) measurement and paid tax as below during 2009.Since then
2008 - 2009 Rs.1775/-
2009 - 2010 Rs.1681/-
2010 - 2011 Rs.1273/-
2011 - 2012 Rs.1273/-
We paid Rs. 6002/- - Almost Rs.2242/- More than what we were actually were supposed to pay to the BBMP (actual amount RS.3760/-)
Now the concern/issue is when I want to pay tax every year, the BBMP authorities are not calculating as per the measurements present in the sale deed or letting me file FORM V to rectify the same. Even the online facility is showing up the FORM V to make changes neither in the measurements nor in FORM IV. I will end up paying the double the tax every year and in future lot of problems might occur due to incorrect measurements.
I have been running to the BBMP office at Ramamurthynagar and Kalkere since May almost every other day and they are not making the necessary changes in the measurements and refunding the excess amount collected from us. My files are handled by Mr. Narayanaswamy in R M Nagar and Mr. Rajesh at Kalkere.
Please I need justice in correcting the measurements at the earliest and refund the excess amount due.
