Conversion of unauthorized government land into residential by the residents of kalkaji

5th March

Dear Sir,

SUB: conversion of unauthorized government land into residential by the residents of kalkaji.

In 1952, Ministry of Rehabilitation, allotted houses to refugees in the area in 1952 and constructed public toilets for the convenience of the residents of Kalkaji, New Delhi – 110019. Subsequently all owners constructed toilets in their houses and thus the public toilet was rendered useless. Now the unauthorized conversion of government land into residence took place by the residence of Kalkaji as part of their property without taking permission from Government / Departments. Some of residents of Kalkaji converted these toilets into residence and obtained CN no. from the authority.

Also, we would like to draw your kind attention that in 1952 Government allotted such houses with two rooms only in a quarter and maximum two storied. Now the residence of kalkaji, construced upto 3-4 storied with the help of police and mcd department.

It is, therefore, requested that necessary instructions make please be given to concerned local authorities for removal of unauthorized construction in government land.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

JOSHI
