Hi
I have rented a flat in a cooperative group housing society. The tenancy agreement written between tenant and owner says that rent and maintenance charge both are included in the rent amount itself.
Now flat owner is not paying the maintenance to the society. Now management committee is forcing me to pay the maintenaince charge as you are getting the service suchas gaurd, plumber, electrician etc...
Can you suggest me with mentioning rulling or bye law whether I am responsible to pay maintenance charge to the society?
Should management committe ask me directly for the maintenance charge?
Society also sent me a letter saying that they would going to stope the service if you would not pay maintenance charge within some days...
Can they stop the water and cleaning service...
Regards
Raghu
