I and my brother has entred in to an agreement for purchase of the indepnedent house with the seller 'Ganga Saran Parasar' in jul 08 and the agreement is registered wth the Gzbd registering authority. Against the agmt Rs. 13.5 lacs has been given as an advance to the seller through registered agreement (8 lac by cheque and Rest is cash). But the seller has refused to sale the propoerty and return the money. Also the legal papers of the propoerty are not complete.
When we approached police to lodge the FIR, police was not agreed and aftera lot of followup, F.I.R. was lodged aginst the sellet in Feb 10. Seller has been grated bail from the court . in Mar 10..
After that till now charge sheet has not been filed agaisnt the seller in the court and the related police official has refused to file the same due to want of money.
It is very surprised to see that as per out existing law provisions, first the people loss the money in fraud and then to fight legally with the defauler pay money to advocates, police officials and other deptts.
I need to know that what are all remedies available with a consumer to encounter such issues. My hard earned money has gone for a toss and in spite of the FIR, defauler is enjoying my money.
You are requested to pubslish the same in your news paper and start a mission for such cases so that before commiting a fraud, people think about the consequences.
