I had booked the Flat at Ganga Ocian Medows Thergaon, Pune with advance of Rs.50, 000. The agreement was made on 17th Jan and immediately payment of Rs. 4, 12, 500 was made and bank issued the cheque of Rs. 1500000 (15 Lacs) on 30th Jan against the Home Loan.
According to Agreement Builder had to give the possession of Flat in June but he could not as construction was not complete.
We Received the Demand Letter from Builder on 10-Feb for Rs.4, 65, 000 and Bank Issued the cheque of Rs. 4, 90, 000 against Home Loan. We received the letter from Builder for taking possession on 23-08 by paying Rs.93, 575 (Society-Rs.20, 000 & One Time Maintenance Rs. 73, 575). We immediately made the payment of Rs.73, 575 & Rs. 20, 000 on 27-08 & 31-08 respectively and requested builder to make flat ready for possession in 10 Days. After 10 Days when we went to take the keys for taking possession Builder Representative started asking for Interest saying your payment is delayed. Every time representative was giving different figures for interest.
Even though we have not delayed any payment and flat got ready for possession very late then also builder is asking for money on the name of interest and threatening us by saying do whatever you want we will not give you possession.
