I am staying in a working womens hostel (Grace Angel Ladies hostel)
I am paying Rs5600/- per month as rent. Before EB charge Hike they charged Rs 8.75/- per Unit. after Hike they are charging Rs 16/- unit. when we inquired, they said that Commercial EB Charge announced by govt is Rs16/- Unit. They refused to give bill for EB what we are paying as an extra charge other than Rent.
Since they are running this hostel in an apartment i am sure that it won't come under commercial EB charge. Coz their registered office is near Railway Station & they are running this hostel as their branch in teacher's colony.
is it possible to take necessary action
