House Owner Fraudster
Not Returning House Advance Fully

Dear Sir,

My Friend and myself have rented a 1BHK house at 68 Annai Abirami Illam, Ganesh Avenue Extn, Sakthi Nagar, Porur - 600116.

We already informed the house owner on June that due to poor (dirty) water supply in the house we are planning to vacate the house and he told i need one month notice so i will deduct one month rent.

We told to our House Owner that we will be vacating by 8th July and if any person comes before this month end then you can refund half of the months rent which he accepted at that time. Within a few days a family came to that house on rent. When we went to his place to get the advance back he deducted full month rent of July in advance.

When we asked about the half month rent which he promised he will give if any person comes on rent to that house within July. He was very impolite, rude and abused us in a loud voice telling he never said that he would return half month rent and asked us to leave the place. He was yelling that you can complain to any one.. Nothing is gonna happen.. His name is Manivannan and he is in his 70's.

Please advice me in this matter.
