Mr. Landgraff and Ms. Thomas,
I would like to bring to your attention a serious issue I am having with your company. I have worked with Phillip Smith since February 10 on refinancing my house through a VA loan. I am a veteran of the US Air Force and it is astounding to me how terrible your employee’s customer service, follow-up, follow-through and the overall rating of service I have received from your company. Our refinancing has been, to put it lightly, a nightmare. I have responded to every request for information from your company within a couple of hours with every piece of information requested. To this day, 175 days later, I do not believe I am any further along with closing my loan with your company than the day I started and just now I’ve been told we have to get another appraisal because your company has screwed around with our paperwork for so long that the appraisal has expired. This is absolutely the worst experience with any company I have ever experienced in my entire life and I have lived overseas for 5 years and even with a language barrier, have received better service than what your company has been capable of producing up to this point.
I wish I would have read the reviews posted online about your company prior to EVER applying for a loan through FFSi. I can say that I will recommend to everyone that I know and to everyone that they know TO NOT USE YOUR COMPANY AND TO RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY from any advertisement First Financial Services, Inc. might put out there especially to all of my Veteran friends.
This is an unbelievable situation and I have no idea now what kindof timeline we are talking about when it comes to actually getting our loan closed through you. I have tried very patiently to work with FFSi but I am reaching out to you because you are my last resort to try to fix this situation.
