Dear Sir,
We need advice on the right course of action. The society chairman has threatened us with a letter on society letter head, to break a shed that is built above over main door. He says that he shall do it in our absence and bill us for it.
I want to know whether the society chairman can actually threaten anyone like this or is he suppose to give us a legal notice on the matter. The society chairman is also creating a lot of havoc by constantly coming up to our flat and threatening in person too. Is this the right course of a society chairman to follow? Can I lodge an FIR against the Chairman at the local police station as I have proof of the letter with me.
Please advice the correct course of action.
Thanks
