I, K. Govindaraju wish to bring to your kind notice the following for your perusal and immediate necessary action.
I am residing at D.No. 66-2-6, Sriramanagar, Visakhapatnam - 530011 My house is situated in 46th Ward.. Adjacent to my house, a fabrication workshop is being maintained by Mr. A.V. Krishna Rao on the name of M/s. Gajalaxmi Industries. The said fabrication workshop is generating heavy noise causing disturbance to all the nearby residence. This noise is mainly emanating due to the nature of their job works like heavy structural fabrication works, hammering, grinding, drillings, machining and welding jobs. The workshop is functioning around 15 to 16 hours in a day causing very inconvenience to the residents of our colony. They start work at around 7 AM and continue until 11 PM in the night. Due to these unbearable sounds, the nearby residents are getting health problems, disturbing children studies and moreover the people are not getting sound sleep.
We Further bring to your notice that they are doing fabrication jobs on public path thereby obstructing the way for kerosene hawkers and difficulty to the public / ration card holders who approaches to the Kerosene Depot to collect kerosene.
Another important point to be noted here is the said shop owner has been allotted a site on concessional / subsidy rate at Pedagantyada Industrial Area, Near Gajuwaka by APIIC, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Though M/s. Gajalaxmi Industries got allotment at Industrial area, they have not shifted this workshop from the residential area. Instead, they constructed a workshop and it was let out.
Under the above circumstances, on behalf of our Colony (Sriram Nagar), I request your good office to kindly look into the matter and instruct the authorities concerned to remove this workshop from the residential area.
