BIG BAZAR TRIVANDRUM
SERVICE

I went to Big Bazar in Trivandrum for shopping on 28/July/'09 with my five Japanese guests.

We each had a small hand bag carrying cash, valubles and travel documents. After a negotiation

with the scurity at the entrance Japanese guests were allowed to enter the shop with their hand bags

but not me. After the second negotiation security allowed me to take my hand bag inside.

After shopping when we went out the security at the exit wanted me to open my bag. Thank God security

didn't ask my guests to open their bags. What all these mean they don't trust Indians? What reply should I

give to my guests for this discrimination? Further, one of my guests had bought Rs.828.- worth goods

and given Rs.900.- but the staff at the counter wanted Rs.28.- change whereas guest had only Rs.20.-

in hand. After a tough negotiation the staff gave the balance. What are all these? I personally saw some other

lady just in front of me having tough time with the staff at the cash counter. In a civilised society how a shop

can behave like this? I felt shame for taking my guests to Big Bazar, Trivandrum.
