Had the worst ever experience, at forum Mall. Me and my friend have been harassed by the parking staff for just running over a small portion of the 2 wheeler tyre on the corner of the traffic cone made of plastic. The staff and their manager Mr. Gopinath unfairly claimed that the cone broke because of that incident, however it was already broken and they were not at all ready to listen to our side of the story.
Here is what our side of the story is:
We were in the Que with our bike, and we suddenly realized that we don't have money to pay for the parking, there were already many bikes behind me and to avoid pushing them back, I tried to take the left turn and accidentally a part of my tyre went over the corner of the traffic cone. Seeing that the person inside the cabin came out and started blaming us for breaking it. We saw the other cones, all are already broken there. we just carried on to collect money from ATM without arguing much. When we came back those parking staff guys started arguing with us and blaming us for breaking that cone. We tried to explain the situation. My friend was on the other left side of the bike and had very good view of the cone and the bike. We knew we had not broken it. However the guy inside the cabin claims that he saw us breaking it! :(
Totally ignoring our views. After a long arguments when we saw these guys are just not listening to us, we thought of ending the issue by agreeing to pay (taking the only way out) what ever amount they claim. They charged us 450 Rs for that single cone (don't know how they decided this amount), we requested for the receipt or at least an acknowledgment of the payment. To this also they didn't agree, it is but obvious that when you pay for anything, you would expectdeserve at least an acknowledgment! They just didn't listen to that also and said come tomorrow and collect the receipt. They might refuse to recognize us when we go tomorrow. Those guys were not at all polite and were very aggressiveunfair in their talks... definitely not at all professional and irrational behavior towards customers or general public!
They demanded if we needed receipt, we should keep the bike with them, and collect it tomorrow along with the receipt. How fair is that?? late in the night how will we go back? Not bothering about customers as if they are only after money. All they were thinking about was their own convenience. You have got to be fair towards people and behave accordingly, can't really believe all this happened with us!!!
Can we expect any kind of action against this?

I am totally harassed and disappointed by this unfair conduct. I am doubtful, that such incidents will not happen with any other customers.
We will visit Whitefield Forum Mall again to talk to some of the Management. Hope it doesn't fall on deaf ears.
