Deffective shoes

I purchased a pair of shoes from Bata show room situated at City Centre, Salt Lake City in the month of November. I noticed that the sole separation in thia month. Though I am staying at MP therefore I sent the shoes with cash meno through my fried today and they denied to accept the shoes for repairing. They said that the shoes can not be accepted as it is already two months over. It means warranty period is for two months. The shoes was cost Rs.1195.00. They did not mentioned the warranty period in the cash memo. If this type of service we are getting from a remound co. then what we expect form others, Now I don't have any faith on Bata.
