I purchased GENPURE Water purifier from M/s ORPET, SUshant Lok-I Gurgaon on 3rd Dec'2008.
At the time of purchase I was assued that the system will work without trouble & only need to be serviced.
But it is very surprising that it has failed just within 14months of use & after calling distributor person he told that you have to get the AMC done for this & than we can manage to get your pump replaced.
The cost of AMC quoted is Rs. 2850 /=plus 50% of pump charges i.e. Rs. 3500/=.
After enquiring further he quoted that pump trouble is there in this model & I already have more that 10 pumps with me.
If this is the case & pump design itself is faulty than why this is being sold to customers by company & why the dealers/distributors are arm twisting & forcing user to get it to AMC for small replacement rather than supporting them by providing services.
Distributor gave me the tel no of Service person Mr. Rohit of GENPURE when I contacted hime he assured me to look into this but after that no response from his side & nor he is picking up my phone. His te no is 9871794059.I have sent hime two SMS also but no response.
Today again I tried to contact him but no response.
I am in a fix, if I want to get the pump repaired than as per distrubutor the only optin is AMC or full pump replacement & the cost is Rs. 3500/= &Rs subsequently.
Pls. help me in getting my RO operational .before I have any major illnes due to bad quality of water.
