Hi,

I am not sure if this forum is going to assist / sort out the issue I have. Here goes.

I have an airtel postpaid sim card. I had asked for 2G activation of internet for which I was informed that the charge was Rs.98/- till 1GB. After 1GB, it would be charged at 10ps per 10kb. Now my monthly bill is Rs.1600/-!

I called up customer care. Airtel 3g was activated on my airtel number three months back and there was no intimation about the same. I had asked for 1GB plan (2g) at Rs.98/- per month. Now the bill has been charged at 10ps per 10kb because of 3g. Airtel manager (Abdul) had stated that this is because of a tie up between airtel and sony ericsson, which is none of my concern. Why should I pay for a service that was not activated by me nor airtel confirming that this service has been activated on my number. I would like to know how to go about filing a legal complaint in case this is not resolved.
