Landline Dead from few days

Hi

I have a BSNL landline No. 25160178, its dead from few days. I called customer care and complain about my phone. They gave me a docket number B8655, but couldn't say about the tentative date when issue will be resolved. I somehow manage to get the local exchange number 25702025 and called them.

I inform them about my problem, to which they rudely replied saying since its raining we can't fix the landline. WE need to wait until rain stops.

Now, I got frustrated because, I recently got broadband with landline. Since landline is dead which mean broadband will not work. I work from home over the internet, not having internet is affecting my business

I am not sure what to do. If BSNL can't provide service during rain then its the Worst service provider. They should be have made themselves prepared for this. This has happened in the past not a new thing for them

I would like to request to the respected team of consumer Complain. Please consider this problem seriously and escalate it to BSNL top management, so that they can find out how their local employee do their work
