Ba voice quality

I use a mobile post paid connection for the past 5 years in Chennai. From the begining the voice quality is so bad. Voice gets disconnected (No voice condition) happens when I make a call or receive a call. When we complain to BSNL officers., they do not respond at all. Thye say it will improve. But five years is to too long a period to improve. The complaints do not reach the top brass. The officers offer to replace the SIM card while the problem is not with the SIM.

By seeing the 3G propaganda, I got my connection upgraded to 3G. But the problem remains same.

Does it mean BSNL does not want to provide good service so that private players can do more business. Are the senior officers of BSNL are invllved in any such scam?

Can any one else have simuilar experience?
