I have a pre-paid mobile connection (8763294403). The connection was obtained after submission of required application, identity proof (copy of PAN Card) and residential proof (copy of BSNL Landline Bill). The SIM was issued by BSNL Head Office at Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar (behind IDCO Towers). I used the phone for about six months. Now, the outgoing calls are barred and and I am asked to contact customer care. I did so today (2nd Nov) at about 12.35 noon. Met the CCN in-charge and on his advice met another desk. I was asked to submit some info like name, address and father's name etc. I submitted the same immediately. I was informed that outgoing facility shall be restored in two hours. Nothing has been done till 7 PM! A message asked me to contact a number. Funnily this number does not exist!
BSNL advertises that it provides services at door steps! Is it your customer care? No wonder, BSNL is losing customers to private operators like airtel and reliance etc!
Can I expect a prompt remedy?
