I got a missed call from the number 923087067149 at 6 am and 7am today (they give only missed calls to all), since I was sleeping I checked it later and but didn't call, to my surprise I got the missed call again and when I called in return (didn't know that it was from pakistan then) they said "Namaskar - (A hindi welcome greeting and not a pakistani one) Main Airtel se bol raha hoon aur aap khushnaseeb hai ke aapko 25 lakh ki lottery lagi hai, aapko 25 lakh chahiye ke nahi chahiye (they know the obvious answer is always positive from people), I knew it was a gimmick and a trap I scolded the person for making such calls and trying to mislead the person on the other end and taking their details he suddenly started abusing me the worst abuses to my surprise, and now when I look here I think it is not only me but many who got such calls... whom do we complaint? and who will take action for such calls.
I am just worried if innocent people fall in the trap and lose their money, also our details, numbers are misused by people. where is the TRAI and the other goverment who can regulate on this serious issue of harassment.
