Dear Sir/s,

This is with reference to my bill no. 051935721 dtd 07/09/10 ; I had a doubt that I have been charged either mistakenly or it’s a bill-fraud, when called up your customer service executive on 12345 – my husband spoke to your exec. Sandeep @8pm on 27/09, Who gave us a shock of our life saying that - there are some details on the system that I calling 7 times to some Special no. 566446 for 25min. 35 secs on a single day i.e. 28/08 amounting Rs. 360/- charges alone? As per him :- There are 6 calls shown of 7mins. 24 sec starting from 07.10am -- 07.23am and again at 3.32pm for good 18 mins. 11 sec. aggregating the fake bill amounting to Rs. 360/-? as special number is being charged @ Rs. 12/- min.

This is astonishing and amusing as the fact of the life is :-

1) This mobile is being only used by me or my husband, and we never call up/SMS any special number.

2) On this 28th august, this mobile the whole day was with me – so there is no question of anyone else (as per your executive that someone else might have called up this no. for so many times?) making these calls to this special number .. is unrealistic and baseless.

3) We have a habit of getting up only after 8.30am in the morning and my mobile is also being schedule with 8.00 am Power on mode, then who on earth made these calls btwn 07.10 & 07.23am? It raises lot of suspicion about this fake bill charges and need to know from your good self/dept, that there have been some mistake from your system end for this fake billing on special no. 566446 for 25mins. 35 sec..

My & our companies association with your co. goes back a long way (completing more than 2 yrs. now) and I regret to inform you that off late, I am finding I have been billed wrongly either on some Special no./SMS??

I look forward to the prompt resolution of this matter and requesting you to reverse all the fake charges on this fraud special no. calls generated by your system in next few days, till then I’ll not pay up my current bill and hence I should not be charged any late payment charges or Interest in my next bill. Also, request to pls. stop this harassment by charging such fake call/SMS charges in future.

If the issue is not resolved within a 3-4 days time, I will have to terminate not only this postpaid number with an immediate effect but also cancel all 24 -25 Idea Postpaid nos. of all my employees working in my company – Also, I will pursue the matter further to your senior management and ask the TRAI – Customer Grievance dept. to investigate my complaint.
