Hi, My name is Krishna P Shetty. My idea mobile number is 9702494572 and the account number is (1.10893214) I want to submit this complaint with the unethical kind of behavior that I received from Idea customer service department.

I have been an Idea customer for more than a year now and have always made my monthly payments on time. I have got 2 accounts with them. Last month I received a bill of 1, 658/- Rs from Ideal cellular ltd for my number mentioned above. Unfortunately I lost my mobile in the train and hence lost my USIM (sim card) as well. I went to the idea store in malad (w) and took a replacement sim card and made a payment of Rs 1, 000/- in the first week of April itself against the bill that I received of Rs 1, 658/-

My payment due date was the 16/04. However due to some financial constraints I couldn't pay the remaining balance of Rs 658/ on the due date and hence they suspended my services for non-payment of bill on time. However, I made an online payment of Rs 650/- on the 21st of April from my wife's account. But when I called up Idea customer service to activate my line they reverted back saying that I haven't made any payment.

Than they told me that it takes 48 hrs for the payment to reflect on the account and they activated my line saying that if the payment doesn't reflects that it will be disconnected. I dont know how this is possible when the payment has been taken from the account and its still doesn't reflects even after 48-72 hrs. I was shocked to know that these people suspended my services again saying that the payment is not reflecting in our system and they would need the transaction ID to trace the payment. I told my wife to call her bank and take the transaction ID and pass it on to me. I called Idea customer services again and gave them the transaction ID (000151949016) but than they again insulted me saying it doesn't make any difference and line will be activated only after the payment reflects in our system.

I was so disappointed with this kind of situation they put me in as i m d only person who earns for my family and because of this kind of negligence shown towards me I have lost a lot of important calls from the share brokers due to which i have suffered loss of more than Rs 15, 000/-.

I again made a payment of Rs 658/- from my personal bank account on the 1st of May but still they have not activated my line. I am writing this complaint with a hope that I will get justice for the blunder that Idea has created in my life. They have traumatized me by calling me a lier and would like you take some strict actions with regards to the same. I also seek a compensation for all the inconvenience they have caused me.
