I have been using Airtel Services since 1998 and in had isntalled fixed line from them. In I opted for their DSL Broadband servcies as well. In I installed the IP TV from them and two DTH connections at my residence.
I discovered yesterday morning (22nd March) that my residence telephone line provided by Bharti/ Airtel has been barred!! I have been struggling with thier call center since then and it is past 24 hours, they are not willing to help! They want to open a fresh ticket, so that they can challenge my claims of line being unfunctional for more than 24 hours, which is nothing but manupalations!! When I protested on this suggestion, i was suggested that my call was being transferred to teh disconnection department where I can request them for disconnection of services!!!
Last but not the least, I'm an ex-employee of Airtel and always have been recommending my famly and freinds to opt for thier services, but today, with the treatment metted by them, I strongly agree with the people who have been telling me that Airtel is fleecing and cheating people in this country!
It seems that Airtel is very enthusiastic in launching the services and making it big in the market taking the 1st movers advantage, but they are just pathetic when it comes to service issues!!
STRONGLY RECCOMEND: PLEASE DO NOT OPT FOR AIRTEL SERVICES.
