I got a missed call today (4th Jan '11) in the eveining, from 923472120094. actually I have seen the number from my mobile is like 9234..., I thought that it's somewhere from India, and I called back, that person who talks in hindi, said that you won 25 lakh lottery from Airtel for your special number, and he gave a number (00923427506934, Mr. Sighaniya, Senior Supervisor) asked me to call to him, but I didn't make any calls to that number, suspecting it for a fake call.
Immediatly I checked with airtel customer care, and they told me that already such calls are being received by other airtel customers also, where they are asking for bank details.
I want airtel, to become proactive in registering such complains and inform all their users about the same
so that customers may not fall in such traps.
