I have my Airtel connection from past 3 years with No: 9970379541. Recently in Dec I have visited Airtel Customer care, Kalyani Nagar, Pune to switch my existing Post-paid connection to Pre-paid connection. They asked me to just fill the form & submit it and said no address proofs are required. It's done & my number got activated. On 27th Jan suddenly my number got disconnected without any intimation and whenever I tried to call it said "Your documnents are not as per new Govt regulations". For which I have visited the same Airtel Customer Care center on 28th Jan & filled new form along with address proofs. They said it would get reactivated within 3days. But when i visited back on 31st Jan (as my no# is still inactive). They said its still not yet 3 days as Sunday is a non-working day. And after much negotiation with them to know about the status they said the number got deleted because of no address proofs submitted along with it when i changed from post paid to pre-paid in December. Now they got me to fill the form again & provided a new SIM card saying my old number will be activated within 4 days.
Its already been 4 days for me without my mobile active. Now they asking 4 more days, and that too just because of their own negligence.
It been a worst experience for me with Airtel service as just because of their negligence I couldn't use my phone for nearly 7-8 days.
