This is regarding how Country Club/Country Vacations cheated me giving all the false promises.
1) On May 29th Afternoon Around 3:00 pm: I was invited to Country club stating that i have won some gifts in a lucky Draw and have to collect the gifts from the venue. Also they have reiterated that the "Gifts are absolutely FREE"
2) When i reached there around 4:45, i was told that i would have to attend 1 hour session and then only i will be given the gift.
3) I was directed to a hall, along with spouse and was asked to Switch of both of our mobile phones. When asked why, the replied saying its for Security reasons.
4) They didnt reveal what they are going to explain. But one executive started talking to us.
He asked many questions to know how much we know about country vacations. When he made sure that we know little and dont have much contacts in Hyderabad moved to next step. He started explaining about country vacations plan.
a) This is a Special Offer we role out once in every 5 years. You people are so lucky to be here. 500 out of 50000 coupons got selected for free gifts and out of this 500 only 116 coupons are selected for this SPECIAL OFFER. This offer will happen only today and if you miss it u will miss something big.

e) Heath insurance worth 1 lakh for every year
f) Accidental insurance for 6 lakh
g) Country Club membership through out India where you can make use of all their Buildings in India, According to our will, just with 1 week prior notification.
h) Free to make use of their function halls at our own will for personal needs (twice a month).
i) Numerous OTHER gifts waiting for you...
k) Free and Easy to resale their membership. Just contact their agent and he will get that done in few days and the value of membership will keep on increasing.
5) Then the Manager came and explained.
a) 1, 40 000 for the 30 years membership.
6) When i told no because i cant take such a big financial decision on day itself and i need few Days time, his face became red and told that this offer is only for TODAY and you have say the decision now itself. He also managed to keep us in big stress by putting forward lot of leaflets and explaining about the Big Benefits. He also did allow me to make any call saying taht we dont want to leak out this offer as it is in High Demand.
he asked me to pay using credit card and also got hold of my credit card by saying that let us check whether it is a valid card or not.(He returned the card only after i paid the amount)
When i REPEATEDLY said NO. He put forward another scheme for 5 years, for Rs. 70000 . He also promised that they can REFUND it at any time and all the Club membership schemes will still remain with me.
After putting me into BIG STRESS (now the time was around 8:00 pm) he managed to swipe my card for 35000 Rupees and telling taht u can pay the remaining amount in installments.
Once they got 35000 they were telling taht I wont be getting any Club membership cards unless and until i pay full amount. He also said that he can give me a discount of 10000 if i pay whole amount. He also promised me on the spot gift of a 1 gm gold coin and few other kits. I kept saying NO NO. But they kept forcing and assuring. He returned my card only after i paid the whole amount. They also made me sign the agreements. But was made sure that I will not read it thoroughly. When i tried to read it the Manager grabbed it and told sir i will explain everything for you.
After coming to my room only i came to know that i fell victim to big Fraud scheme (Thanks to Google and One of my Colleague).
Called up the So financial manager and He told me he cannot refund and its upto the Customer care
Called up customer care and they asked me to reach to their Himayat nagar office. I reached their on Monday morning. I told that i want to refund my money then he told that it cannot be done pointing to the agreement. He also told Resale is not their headache and they dont have any agents. What ever that was told to be free was not Free. We have to pay money on the top of it. The executive also told that they feel sorry for it. I asked to launch a complaint. But they told they dont have any provision to launch a complaint. Called up Customer care, but they are never picking up the call.
