Hi

In February, I Booked 4 tatkal AC3 tickets.

Out of which only two tickets got confirmed after chart preperation and 2 are still in wait list status.

As per rules if the ticket is still in wait list after chart preperation, passengers should not travel so only two passengers traveled and we expected that refund will be credited back to my account for the 2 WL tickets.

But I didnt get the refund so i called up irctc call center and they filed a TDR behalf of me stating passenger not travelled.

I have sent mails regarding same that its not passenger not travelled but its refund for wait list tatkal ticket but they told it will be taken care after investigation.

After 100 days, I got mail from IRCTC that my TDR is rejected with the below reason

REGRET Dear Customer, With Reference to your PNR No:4326072898, we regret to inform you that refund is not admissible as informed by Railways through their letter no: IRCTC/BBS/08/887/16.06.11/ECoR and the reason being : 841-ECoR/10 Failed to collect TTE certificate for non-traveling W/L passenger (s). I dont understand why should i take confirmation from TT for the passengers not traveled. And my other two tickets which are in waitlist are not even displayed in the chart.

Please help me to get my refund.
