As a part of a purchase done through the BagItToday.com website. I was supposed to get a Free holiday stay from ITBC. After I received the product i applied for the holiday as mentioned in their website.
I Received a Holiday Voucher from ITBC as a promotional offer. The voucher demands to pay Rs.800 and promised me to give a holiday stay for 2 nights and 3 days in any of their mentioned resorts of my choice inclusive off all food (6 major meals).
According to the voucher, I took a DD of Rs.800 attached with the filled voucher form and sent to the mentioned address. I sent the voucher with DD on Nov-23rd.
As the part of filling the form, I need to mention 3 different dates and 3 different destinations of my choice. My first choice of date was 15-Jan. When I called up the customer executives to check the status on 3-Jan, they informed me that i may get the holidays on any of the three dates that i have mentioned and i will get the information only before 10 days of my travel.
Trusting the words of Customer care executives of ITBC, I reserved the travel tickets for all the three destinations and for all the three dates that i have mentioned in the voucher. I did this because we cannot do the travel arrangements just before 10 days of travel.
But, sadly all the dates passed away and every time when i call the customer care of ITBC, they informed me that i will get the holidays for sure and i have to wait.
Still I am waiting (04-Jan). But no information from ITBC. They have not only cheated me by taking away my 800Rs but, also given me a mental torcher.
I have called the customer care of ITBC nearly about 2 times per week on all these days from 03-Jan-11 till date. Everytime they will give me reply to call back after 48hrs and it will be resolved.
A Planned Fraud is still happening.
I have all proofs related to this issue to apply the same in Consumer Court.
