Sound driver not working properly

Dear sir,

i am using compaq presario v 6000 notebook. My system infected virus and format the pc and install windows xp s 2.

after sucessfull installation download audio driver from the site

but show an error message "DRIVER INSTALLATION FAILED: COULD NOT FIND THE MEDIA DEVICE FOR THIS DRIVER."

please give me a geniune replay...
