I have submitted all the relevant documents for porting my number from vodafone to MTNL on 11th february. On 17th february i received a message from MTNL that my number will be ported on 17th february at 10 PM.after 10 PM on 17th february, my vodafone number has stopped working and 23 hours has elapsed but my MTNL number has not been activated yet. TRAI has regulation that a number should not be kept out of service for more than 2 hours. It is given on MTNL website that after porting a customer will get Rs. 100 and 2000 local sms etc but none of the services has been started yet on my number.plz help.
